In 2001, Ni Tsai-Chin participated in Art to Art VI, where he was invited to exhibit at the museum UMoCA by Cai Guo-Qiang in Colle di Val d'Elsa. This collaboration represented a unique opportunity to bring his poetics into dialogue with the cultural and artistic context of Tuscany.
With a career characterised by international exhibitions and an unwavering commitment to making connections between past and present, Ni Tsai-Chin continues to be a prominent figure in the Asian contemporary art scene.
The first verified exhibition of Ni Tsai-Chin was Place / Displace presso il Centre A – Vancouver International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art a Vancouver, Canada, nel 2004, mentre la più recente è stata Dimensions: Variable in Spaces at the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts in Taipei in 2024. Over the past 20 years, the artist has participated in at least two solo exhibitions and 17 group exhibitions (see exhibition catalogue for details).
