A complementary and concrete perspective for mitigating the impact of CO2 is therefore “urban forestry”: a massive and widespread increase in plantings, to mitigate the impact of sun and rain on the land, to capture CO2, and to make even the most industrialised or degraded peripheries socially welcoming. What are the real scientific needs and possibilities for these environmental policies? What are the costs and benefits? How can contemporary art and urban planning make this emergency evident and then encourage the diffusion of this new way of understanding dwelling within the urban context?
",
