        "rendered": "<p class=\"\"><strong>Antony Gormley\u00a0<\/strong>(London, 1950), one of the most celebrated contemporary sculptors, explores the relationship between the human body and space through sculptures that often use his own body as a model. His works, made of materials such as iron, cast iron and steel, dialogue with the urban and natural landscape, transforming space into a physical and emotional experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In 2004 he participated in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/project\/arte-allarte-ix-2004\/\"><strong><em>Art to Art IX<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>with the project<em>\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/antony-gormley-poggibonsi-2004\/\"><strong><em>Make Room Make Room<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>which involved the creation of seven sculptures in Poggibonsi,\u00a0<strong>donated to the municipality<\/strong>\u00a0and still visible in public space.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In 2015, it took part in the fundraising project\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/project\/axva-ii-edizione\/\"><strong><em>Artexvino = Water<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, designing the label for a bottle produced by Tenimenti D'Alessandro. In 2020, his imposing cast-iron sculpture\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/antony-gormley-2\/\"><strong><em>SHY<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>was installed in Prato's cathedral square, becoming an artistic landmark in the city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">During the Venice Biennale 2022, the Negozio Olivetti in St. Mark's Square hosted the exhibition\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/art-exhibition\/lucio-fontana-antony-gormley\/\"><strong><em>Lucio Fontana \/ Antony Gormley<\/em><\/strong>,<\/a>\u00a0a dialogue between two masters of form and space. In addition, the artist contributed to fundraising for the project\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/arte-per-la-riforestazione\/\"><strong><em>Art for Reforestation<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with the generous donation of the work\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/smallpause-antony-gormley\/\"><strong><em>Small Pause IV<\/em><\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>",
