        "rendered": "<p class=\"\"><strong>Lothar Baumgarten<\/strong>\u00a0was a German conceptual artist. His artistic practice focused on themes of ethnography and anthropology, using a wide range of media, including installations, films, ephemeral sculptures, photographs, slide shows, 16 mm works, recordings, drawings, prints, books, short stories, site-specific works, wall drawings and architectural interventions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">He participated in <a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/project\/arte-allarte-vii-2002\/\"><strong>Art to Art VII<\/strong><\/a> at the invitation of the curator <strong>Emanuela De Cecco<\/strong> in the church of St Francis of <strong>Montalcino<\/strong> with the work <em>Ecce Homo. <\/em>He participated in the special project<a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/project\/arte-x-vino-acqua\/\">\u00a0<strong><em>Art for Wine = Water<\/em><\/strong><\/a> for the construction of drinking water wells in Africa.<\/p>",
