        "rendered": "<p class=\"\"><strong>Maria Thereza Alves<\/strong>\u00a0She is a Brazilian artist and activist. Her artistic trajectory is inseparable from her political activism, whether in favour of ecology, the rights of indigenous minorities, or territorial and decolonising struggles. She does not favour a particular medium; her works often take the form of prolific installations that mix natural objects and artefacts, videos, texts, drawings and photographs. These installations, like true investigations, reconstruct the artist's explorations and actions in a given territory.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">During the Covid-19 pandemic, she was a guest speaker at the second webinar organised online by Associazione Arte Continua as part of the extensive project \u201cL<em>and City of the Future<\/em>\u201dfrom the title \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/frame-002\/\"><strong>Frame 002, Urban Forestry<\/strong><\/a>\".<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">He also participated in the fundraising. <a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/arte-per-la-riforestazione\/\"><strong><em>Art for Reforestation<\/em><\/strong><\/a> generously donating the work <a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/untitled-wall-piece-flora-maria-thereza-alves\/\"><strong><em>Untitled (Wall Piece Flora)<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>",
