        "rendered": "<p class=\"\"><strong>Jos\u00e9 Yaque<\/strong> He is a Cuban artist born in Manzanillo in 1985, known for his experimental and multidisciplinary approach, spanning painting, sculpture, and installation. His work explores themes of nature, landscape, and memory, combining natural materials with innovative techniques.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Yaque has actively collaborated with the Arte Continua Association, holding an exhibition in Santa Croce sull\u2019Arno titled \"Alluvione sull\u2019Arno\" in 2013.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">With a powerful and symbolic visual language, Jos\u00e9 Yaque continues to distinguish himself on the international art scene, bringing with him a vision that intertwines past, present, and future.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Jos\u00e9 Yaque was born in 1985 in Manzanillo, Cuba, a creative melting pot that has produced a new generation of talented Cuban artists in recent years. Yaque graduated from the Higher Institute of Art of Cuba in 2011 and currently lives and works in Havana.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">David Gill first met Yaque in his studio in Havana in 2015, inviting him for a residency in London in October 2016. His first solo exhibition in London was born from this experience, <em>Mother Earth<\/em>, in March 2017. In the same year, Yaque participated in the Cuban Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">For Yaque, colour represents the beginning of a search for our inherent essence. Through his paintings, he explores pigments, hues, depth, and movement, creating effects of strong visual impact.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The artist has exhibited in solo and group shows worldwide. He participated in the Rockefeller Foundation residency in New York and was part of the Cuban Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale.<\/p>",
