        "rendered": "<p class=\"\"><strong>Michelangelo Pistoletto<\/strong> (Biella, 1933) is one of the most important exponents of Arte Povera and a central figure on the international art scene. His career, which began in the 1950s, is characterised by a constant reflection on the relationship between art, the individual and society. His celebrated <em>Mirror pictures<\/em> They revolutionised the concept of perspective, including the viewer and real-time in the artwork.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In 1996, Pistoletto participated in the first edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/project\/arte-allarte\/\"><strong><em>Art to Art<\/em><\/strong><\/a>,creating a <em><strong>Project in Volterra<\/strong> <\/em>which engaged with the city's historical and cultural context. They participated in the special project <a href=\"https:\/\/artecontinua.org\/en\/project\/arte-x-vino-acqua\/\"><strong><em>Art for Wine = Water<\/em> <\/strong><\/a>for the construction of drinking water wells in Africa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In 2017, you collaborated with Arte Continua Association for the exhibition <em>One and One Makes Three<\/em> at the Venice Biennale, a work that explored the concept of unity and connection between opposites.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Founder of <em>Cittadellarte \u2013 Pistoletto Foundation<\/em>, his work continues to promote socially responsible art, supporting the dialogue between tradition and innovation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Michelangelo Pistoletto<\/strong> (Biella, 1933) is an Italian artist, a leading exponent of Arte Povera and a key figure in contemporary art. His artistic training began in his father's studio, who was a painter and restorer, and he later studied advertising graphics. In the 1950s, he dedicated himself to self-portraits and received accolades such as the San Fedele Prize (1958). In the 1960s, he developed his \u2019Quadri specchianti\u2019 (Mirror Paintings), works that integrate the viewer and reality in the present moment, marking a turning point in artistic perspective and gaining international fame. These works led him to exhibit in prestigious institutions in Europe and the United States, establishing him on the global art scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In 1967, he participated in the birth of Arte Povera with works such as \u2019Oggetti in meno\u2019 (Fewer Objects), and founded Zoo, an interdisciplinary artistic collective. In the 1970s and 1980s, he explored new themes such as \u201ccontinents of time,\u201d sculptures using innovative materials, and the \"Arte dello squallore\" (Art of Squalor) cycle. In 1994, he launched the Arte Project, promoting art as a tool for social transformation, and founded Cittadellarte in Biella. Since 2003, he has dedicated himself to the Third Paradise project, a symbol of balance between nature and technology, which has gained broad global recognition. In the 2000s, he continued to innovate, receiving numerous awards, honorary degrees, and organising initiatives such as the Rebirth-day and monumental installations for international institutions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In recent years, Pistoletto has been exploring the potential of new technologies, such as QR codes and artificial intelligence, with the concept of \u201cmeta-artwork\u201d. In 2023, he presented new works, received prestigious awards, and published the book *La formula della creazione* (The Formula of Creation), delving deeper into his artistic and theoretical reflection.<\/p>",
