Marco Cingolani He is an Italian artist recognised as a “master of colour”, known for his works characterised by superimpositions, nuances, scratches and chromatic transparencies. His work aims to deconstruct the normative power of media images, offering a unique artistic perspective on contemporary reality.

For the second edition of Arte all'Arte, he participated, at the invitation of curators Jan Hoet and Giacinto di Pietroantonio, alongside Jessica Diamond and Amedeo Martegani in a special project for San Gimignano, placing leaded glass windows on certain views of the city.

Marco Cingolani He is a leading figure in abstract painting, born in Como in 1961, before moving to Milan in 1978 as a young man. In the Lombard city, he came into contact with young creatives in an environment that merged art, fashion, and punk music. In all of his abstract canvases, the artist removes imagery from its common context and sentiments, using a new point of view to interpret the world. In 2009, Cingolani was invited to represent Italy at the Venice Biennale. In 2011, on the occasion of his fiftieth birthday, his hometown of Como dedicated a retrospective to him across three public spaces. He has exhibited in national and international shows, continuing to explore the expressive potential of colour and to question the role of art in contemporary society.
",
