Ottonella Mocellin is an Italian artist whose work interweaves narrative, memory and personal relationships, using media such as installation, photography, video and performance to explore issues of identity, communication and emotional dynamics.
In 2001 he participated in the 6th edition of Art to Art with an intervention at the Linari Castle.
Ottonella Mocellin (Milan, 1966) is an Italian photographer and video artist based in Milan. Mocellin works with texts, sound installations, performances and site-specific projects. Her work is based on questions of identity and human relationships. In 1984 she moved to London, where she attended the Chelsea School of Art and became a founding member of the ARC group. In 1993 he returned to Milan where he lives and works. His work has been exhibited at the Malmo Museum, the Venice Biennale, the Gallery of Modern Art in Turin, the Slovak National Gallery, Bratislava, the Villnius Contemporary Art Centre, the Gallery of Modern Art in Bologna, the PS1 Contemporary Art Centre in New York, the 2nd Tirana Biennial (2003).
