Ni Tsai-Chin

Ni Tsai-Chin is a Taiwanese artist known for his ability to combine tradition and contemporaneity through painting, installation and calligraphy. His work explores themes related to cultural identity and spirituality, reinterpreting traditional languages with a modern and innovative approach.

In 2001, Ni Tsai-Chin participated in Art to Art VI, where he was invited to exhibit at the museum UMoCA by Cai Guo-Qiang in Colle di Val d'Elsa. This collaboration represented a unique opportunity to bring his poetics into dialogue with the cultural and artistic context of Tuscany.

Although Ni Tsai-Chin exhibits most frequently in Taiwan, his works have also been presented in China and Canada. Over the past 20 years, the artist has participated in at least two solo exhibitions and 17 group exhibitions (see exhibition catalogue for details).
